Job Description
Manage a team of software engineers involved in: Analyze, design, implement and test Radio Resource Control (RRC) software module on the 4G/LTE User Equipment (UE)
Analyze 3GPP RRC specifications/customer requirement, collaborate with peer teams (protocol stack SW and systems) and convert the requirements in to feature level design recommendation
Take ownership of testing issues from internal lab, field and external lab until closure
Develop, automate and maintain test-scripts for RRC software unit testing framework
Follow the organizations software engineering standards to ensure the deliverable quality
Analyze access stratum requirements/issues from system perspective, generate intellectual property and identify optimization opportunities
Nurture the team in necessary domains, Mitigate the risks effectively and grow the teams capabilities
Mentor and provide technical guidance for junior members in the team
Assess the team member and teams performance in periodic based on the expectations set, technical competence and behavioural aspects
